Example 1: Columbus

Dsc00065r.jpg

The body of this fantasy bird has a polystyrene foam ball as core. Before modelling the ball has been covered with tin foil. The bird has been put on a metal form.

Example 2: Cyclops

Dsc00083.jpg

I have used an egg form here. This form is also covered in tin foil first, so the form stays intact. Before covering the egg I made some protuberances for head and tail.

Click on the picture for more information on this subject and a change of size.

Example 3: Terminator

Dscterminator3cr.jpg

I have used an egg form here. This form is covered in tin foil too, so the form stays intact.

Click on the picture for more information and two pictures (bigger format) of this nasty piece of work.
